Delicate silver chain held closed with a solid silver sprung padlock. Although the padlock is too small to be lockable, the spring that holds it closed is strong enough to prevent accidental opening. All components are 925 sterling silver.

This collar is everything I was looking for, it is dainty and beautiful but not visually 'loud' so I'm very happy! You pull the lock up to open it so there is no key, but it makes a very sleek look and it is beautiful. If you have a similar love for more dainty smaller statement pieces I'd say go for it
